Belitsoft — is an international software outsourcing company and services provider with a headquarter based in Belarus, Minsk. One of the main Belitsoft activities are software engineering, staff augmentation and dedicated team model. Initially one of the main activity was distance education solutions development. Due to wide experience and the desire to extend their services, Belitsoft now have the official representatives in Russia, Germany and Denmark. Belitsoft Company is the official developer and distributor of ElearningForce International products on the territory of Commonwealth of Independent States.

History

Belitsoft was founded by Vladimir Tursin and Alexander Beresnyakov in 2004 and initially provided PHP development services. Later .NET development department were created and distance learning has been defined as a main direction. Due to company growth Belitsoft created JoomlaLMS, a learning management system for distance learning. Later Microsoft SharePoint platform has been used to create a second learning management system called SharePointLMS. Because of this the company has become a leader in the development of distance learning solutions in the Republic of Belarus. In 2009 the company gets ISO:9001 certification and became a member of Belarus High Technologies Park.
