Belles on Their Toes is a Technicolor film based on the book Belles on Their Toes by Frank Bunker Gilbreth, Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey. The film had its debut in New York City on May 2, 1952. It was directed by Henry Levin. Henry Ephron and Phoebe Ephron wrote the screenplay. It is a sequel to the 1950 film Cheaper by the Dozen.
Synopsis
Belles on Their Toes recounts the story of the Gilbreth family after the death of efficiency expert Frank Gilbreth, husband of Dr. Lillian Gilbreth and father to twelve children.

Facts
This film is more true to the story than the first film, Cheaper by the Dozen. Only the 11 living children are featured, with Jane as the youngest after Robert. The real name of Anne's future husband was Robert Barney, which is changed to Grayson in the film.
