Bematistes alcinoe, the Alcinoe Bematistes, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome and Principe, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi and Tanzania.[2] The habitat consists of forests.

The larvae feed on Adenia cisampelloides.
