Benjamin O. Bartholomew (born July 31, 1989) is a former American football fullback. He played college football at Tennessee.
Early years
Bartholomew played high school football at Montgomery Bell Academy. He earned Tennessee Sports Writers Association Division II-3A All-State first team honors as a senior in 2007. He also participated in wrestling and track and field.[1]
College career
Bartholomew played for the Tennessee Volunteers from 2008 to 2012. He was redshirted in 2009. He also participated in track and field for the Volunteers as a shot putter. He was named to the 2009 Academic All-SEC team and the 2008 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.[1]
Professional career
New England Patriots
On May 3, 2013, He signed with the New England Patriots of the National Football League as an undrafted free agent.[2] On August 30, 2013, He was released.[3]
Personal life
Bartholomew's brother, Will, also played for the Tennessee Volunteers.[1]
