Ben Mazzotta

Ben Mazzotta is founding partner and creative visionary of Little Engine Moving Pictures.[1] He has created, directed, produced, and animated Canadian children’s live-action/animated television series Now You Know[2] for TVOKids,[3] documentary Diverse City for OMNI Television, and feature film The Limits,[4] licensed to SuperChannel.[5] Since 2000, Ben has written, directed and produced over 100 hours of film, television, and corporate video content for past and present clients: TraffikGroup,[6] 3M Canada, Walmart Canada, Tim Hortons, Royal Bank of Canada RBC, Microsoft Canada, Nestle, Xbox, Diageo, Guru Studio, Teletoon, The Family Channel, Mackenzie Investments and Spafax. After graduating from Film and Image Arts at Ryerson University in 1996, Ben worked for nine years directing, producing and distributing university-funded documentaries and academic video content for University of Toronto. While there, he was technical director for ePresence[7] webcast lectures. Ben is an alumnus of the National Screen Institute.[8] As a youth, Ben was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets RCAC. He wrote and directed his first short film when he was fifteen.
