Benjamin Garcia (born 5 April 1993) is a French professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for the Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League. He primarily plays at second-row, but can also fill in at prop and centre.

Playing career

A France international at junior level, Garcia played as a junior for SO Avignon and spent time at Brisbane Broncos, playing in their under-20s team in 2013 before joining Catalans Dragons towards the end of the season.[2]

He made his Super League debut against Leeds Rhinos on 31 August 2013.

He was called into the France squad for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup as a late replacement following injuries to Clement Soubeyras and Mathias Pala.[3]

He played in the 2014 European Cup.

On 10 June 2015, Garcia signed a 2-year contract with the Penrith Panthers of the National Rugby League, starting in 2016.[4]
