Bentonsport is a 35-acre (14 ha) historic district in Van Buren County, Iowa, in the area of Keosauqua, Iowa, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.[1]
It dates from 1839. It includes Federal, Gothic Revival, and "Steamboat Gothic architecture.[1]
Historic uses of one or more properties in the district include use as a department store, as a specialty store, as a school, as a single dwelling and as a religious structure.[1]
As a promotional term, the area calls itself "Bentonsport National Historic District".[2]
