Berlin Station is an upcoming American espionage drama television series. A ten-episode first season will premiere on Epix in the fall of 2016.[1][2]
Production
Epix announced a 10-episode straight-to-series order on May 21, 2015. Michaël Roskam will executive produce the series and direct the first two episodes. Olen Steinhauer will write and executive produce the series.[3] Production started in Berlin in November 2015.[2]
Cast
- Richard Armitage as Daniel Miller, the cerebral, newly anointed CIA officer who goes from being an analyst at Langley to an undercover officer in Berlin tasked with finding a leak.[2]
- Richard Jenkins as Steven Frost, a veteran of the Cold War who serves as the CIA’s Chief of the Berlin Station.[4]
- Rhys Ifans as Case Officer Hector DeJean.[5]
- Michelle Forbes as Valerie Edwards, the no-nonsense administrator who serves as a Berlin Station Internal Branch Chief.[2]
- Tamlyn Tomita as Sandra Abe, a quiet presence lording over the efficient operation of Berlin Station while having an affair with her boss, Steven Frost.[2]
- Leland Orser as Robert Kirsch, a devoted and successful Deputy Chief who digs intelligence out of the capital through a mix of force, diligence and cleverness.[2]
- Richard Dillane as Deputy Liaison Gerald Ellman, a gentle, reserved man who plans his transfer to Budapest, but finds himself in a position of being collateral damage.[2]
- Bernhard Schütz as Hans Richter, an old-world spy who has risen, against all odds, to the highest ranks of the BfV.[2]
- Rameez Siddiqui as supporting character BfV.[2]
