Bernard Bloch

Bernard Bloch, B.A., M.A., Ph.D., (1907, New York City, NY – 1965) was an American linguist. He is one of the post-Bloomfieldian linguists. He taught at Brown University and Yale University. His father, Albert Bloch, was the only American represented with Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider), a group of early 20th-century European modernists.
