César Bernardo Baena Sierraalta, (born April 28, 1990) is a Venezuelan cross country skier.

Education

Baena was born in Altamira, Caracas. He completed his primary and high school studies at the Colegio Simón Bolívar in Caracas.

Nordic Skiing

While studying in Sweden he started to ski at age of 20. He represented Venezuela in diverse ski events since 2010.

In 2010 he trained in Sweden.

Cesar has been competing in the following countries:

Oslo 2011 Nordic World Ski Championships

Along with his brother César Baena he participated at the Oslo 2011 World Ski Championships, racing the 10 km Classic Qualification, The Free Sprint, and The Team Sprint. Together Bernardo and Cesar as VENEZUELA were the only and first Latin American team to compete in the sprint relay in the World Nordic Ski Championships history.
