Berra is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ferrara in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Bologna and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of Ferrara. As of 31 December 2013, it had a population of 5,021 and an area of 68 square kilometres (26 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Berra contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cologna and Serravalle.
Berra borders the following municipalities: Ariano nel Polesine, Codigoro, Copparo, Crespino, Jolanda di Savoia, Mesola, Papozze, Ro, Villanova Marchesana.
