Bertha is a well-known, suburban, unincorporated community in Seminole County, Florida. Bertha is located near the northern edge of Goldenrod, at the intersection of Florida State Road 426 and Tuskawila Avenue.
History
Bertha is said to be named after Florida real estate pioneer, Bertha Palmer. The area started out as a subdivision, but grew as a small town.
Places
Although Bertha is small, it contains several businesses. There is a 7 Eleven, the main grocery store in Bertha, on Tuskawila Avenue. There are also several restaurants and the Tuskawila Baptist Church in Bertha.
