Beth-nimrah
Beth-Nimrah (Hebrew: בית נמרה) was a town in ancient Israel.
The town was located east of Jordan River and was assigned to the Tribe of Gad.[1] It is described as "in the low plain". The name is preserved in the names Tel Nimrin and Wadi Nimrin, but the location of the old town is believed to be at Tel Bleibil. In the Book of Joshua it was said to belong to the kingdom of Sihon.[2]
