In 1932 she was a member of the Canadian relay team that finished fourth in the 4x100-metre freestyle relay. In the 400-metre freestyle, she was eliminated in the first round. She also represented Canada in the 1930 and 1934 British Empire Games.[1]
Tancock was inducted as a member of the University of Toronto Sports Hall of Fame in 1990.[1]
