Background

The EP was recorded during the summer of 2014 with producer Steven Solomon. It consists of five songs co-written by Day and Solomon.^[2]

On October 5, 2014, Day announced her EP would be released October 26, 2014 with an online release party on Stageit.^[3]

The song "Ian's song" was written by Day for her boyfriend, Ian Nelson.
