Bhaproda or Bhaprauda is a village in the Jhajjar district of the Indian state of Haryana. Located on the Sampla–Jhajjar road, 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from the National Highway 10 intersection, Bhaproda has 5200 voters. The main gotra of the village is Rathee with a resident population of 1292 families. As of the 2011 Indian census, the village had a population of 6902 of which 3739 were male and 3163 female. There were 782 children aged between 0-6, some 11.33% of the total population. The average sex ratio of the village was 846, which is lower than Haryana state average of 879. The child sex ratio was 789, lower than Haryana average of 834.
Bhaproda village has higher literacy rate compared to the average across Haryana. In 2011 it was 80.85% compared to 75.55% for the state. Male literacy stood at 90.31% while the female literacy rate was 69.77%.
As per the constitution of India and the Panchyati Raaj Act, Bhaproda village is administrated by the Sarpanch (Head of Village) who is its elected representative.
The village has three government run schools and is home to the Dada Kathan Temple.
The youth of Bhaproda are active in village growth and development as well as in sports and education. Dada Kathan Youth Club (DKYC) runs different social activities in the village.
