Bhargavram Vitthal Warerkar

Bhargavram Vitthal Warerkar (1883-1964) also known as Mama Warerkar was an Indian author and parliamentarian. He wrote a large number of books consisting of plays, novels, short stories in Marathi. He was nominated twice as a member of the Rajya Sabha in 1956 and 1962 and served till his death in 1964. He was also a recipient of the Padma Bhushan in 1959.[1]
