Bhavan's Sri RamaKrishna Vidyalaya (BSRKV) is a private school in Sainikpuri, Secunderabad, India run by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan educational trust. It is a co-educational school with Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary wings.[1] The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE).[2][3]

Location

The school is situated in 50 acres of serene, pollution-free environment of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Sainikpuri. The school has 120 well ventilated and spacious class rooms for student comforts. 10 rooms earmarked for E-learning

Laboratories

The school offers to its pupils well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, where they are given the opportunity to practice their theoretical knowledge. The Mathematics labs made available separately for the students of the Primary and Secondary sections are full of teaching and learning aids which makes the subject come alive. The state-of-the-art computer labs keep the pupils in touch with the ever-widening horizons of the world of computers.

Library

To inculcate the reading habit in children the Vidyalaya has a well-stocked library with a wide variety of books ranging from sciences to literature, general knowledge, fiction, encyclopedias and books of knowledge. Very interestingly, the library (books) goes to the classes of the Primary section students, whereas the older pupils go to the main school library.

Sports fields

The school has vast play grounds fields which cater for all games and sports. Students are trained and encouraged to participate in sports to ensure overall development of mind and body.

Audio-Visual Rooms

Each of the Vidyalaya’s wings has its own audio-visual room for suitable viewing of educational CDs. The school is also equipped with an LCD projector for viewing slides and presentations.

E-learning facility

A special feature in this academic year is introduction of e-learning from KG classes to XII. The visual effects, graphics and better solution will enhance the class room teaching learning process. Multi-Purpose Activity Center:

This Activity Center

It is a hub of activity where pupils play indoor games like table-tennis and chess. Yoga classes are held here daily for the pupils of the Primary and Secondary sections. The Center is also the venue for project presentation by students as well as workshops and in- service training for the staff. Communication / Intercom facilities: An Intercom System is established to facilitate better communication among staff and students.

Group SMS facility

The school has group SMS on mobile phone that facilitates quick communication with the parents. Parents will be communicated about the fee payments and other important information on their mobiles by SMS.
