GDV-BVRM Broad gauge railway opened by Jagjivan Ram Railway Minister on 08.10.1961.
Classification
Bhimavaram Town railway station is an ‘A’–category station. It is recognized as a Model station and Touch & Feel (Modern Stations) in the Vijayawada railway division.[2][3]
