Bigarello is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 140 kilometres (87 mi) east of Milan and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) east of Mantua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,850 and an area of 27.0 square kilometres (10.4 sq mi).[1]
Geography
The municipality contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) of Bazza, Gazzo (municipal seat) and Stradella.
Bigarello borders the following municipalities: Castel d'Ario, Castelbelforte, Roncoferraro, San Giorgio di Mantova, Sorgà.
