Bilal Saeed (Urdu: بلال سعید) is a Pakistan singer-songwriter, record producer and music producer. Since his debut in 2011, he has received various nominations in Lux Style Awards, PTC Punjabi Music Awards and Brit Asia Awards which makes him first Pakistani to get nominated for PTC Punjabi Music Awards and Brit Asia Awards.[1]
Life and career
Saeed was born in Sialkot, Pakistan to a Muslim family. Saeed began his career as a music composer. He quickly gained popularity through his debut single "12 Saal" in 2011.[2] In 2012 he released his debut album "Twelve" which received two nominees at PTC Punjabi Music Award for Best Non Residents Punjabi Album and Best Non Resident Punjabi Vocalist.[3] The album also featured Dr Zeus, Amrinder Gill and Fateh. A single "Khair Mangdi" from the album was nominated as Song of the Year at 13th Lux Style Awards. In 2014, Saeed released a single "Lethal Combination" with Roach Killa under Beyond Records. The single topped BBC Asian Charts.[4] He also released a single "Kaash (A Wish)" in 2015 which topped the iTunes Chart.[5] Saeed made his Bollywood debut by composing soundtrack of the film Ishqedarriyaan (2015) with Jeet Ganguly and Jaidev Kumar.[6][7]
