Wilburn Rue (Bill) Butland (March 22, 1918 – September 19, 1997) was a pitcher who played in Major League Baseball for the Boston Red Sox. Butland batted and threw right-handed.

In a four-season career, Butland posted a 9–3 record with 62 strikeouts and a 3.88 ERA in 150-2/3 innings pitched, including two shutouts and six complete games.

Butland missed three seasons due to service in the United States Army during World War II.
