William Paul "Bill" Whittaker (20 December 1922 in Charlton, London – 30 August 1977 in Greenwich, London) was a professional football defender, who played in the Football League for Charlton Athletic, Huddersfield Town and Crystal Palace.[1] He guested for eight additional clubs during the Second World War.[2][3][4] He later played for and managed Eastern Counties League side Cambridge United.[5]
