Billion Electric Co. Ltd. (Taiex: #3027), based in Taiwan, was founded in 1973. Billion began their leading business by designing, producing, and distributing power transformers, power supplies, and other power related products. It's one of the leading providers of power supplies, energy management solutions and networking equipment in the Asian Pacific rim.

In 1993, Billion established its Communication Division and has committed to investing in the development of the next-generation networking equipment and Internet access devices carriers, Internet service provider, enterprise and industrial sectors. Ranging from technical designs, product development to manufacturing. Their range of ADSL modem/routers were introduced into Australia in 2002. Since then, features have been added including 4 port switches, wireless, VoIP, and VPN termination. Billion received the " The best router brand" in Australia in a row.

Conscious of the sustainable corporate responsibility and the necessity to minimize environmental damages, Billion started to invest its resources heavily into the R&D of green technologies, ranging from Smart Grid, Smart Lighting to Smart Energy Management Systems. Based on the substantial knowledge and expertise in the fields of power supplies and networking communication, Billion develop a series of innovative IoT (Internet of Things) solutions to support data transmission, energy consumption analysis, lighting remote control and intelligent power grid applications.

Billion now employs more than 1,000 people and have our in-house laboratories as well as three manufacturing locations in Taiwan and China.
