Birmingham by-election, 1873

The Birmingham by-election of 1873 was fought on 20 October 1873. The byelection was caused by the incumbent MP, John Bright, becoming the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster. It was won by the Liberal candidate John Bright, who was reelected unopposed.
