Birsa Ambedkar Phule Students' Association

Birsa Ambedkar Phule Students' Association or BAPSA is a student organization active at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.[1][2] It works for student rights and issues of Other Backward Castes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes on campus.[3] It believes that Indian Communists failed to oppose 'Brahmanism' both culturally and politically.[4]

In March 2015, BAPSA organised ex-CM Bihar, Jitan Ram Manjhi's lecture on Politics, Caste & Discrimination: Experience of a Dalit CM.[6]
