Bishop Morrow School (BMS) is an English medium school in Krishnanagar, Nadia, India. It is the private non profit school run by SMI in the district of Nadia. Currently the school is affiliated up to Class X and Class XII(Science Stream). The school follows the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ICSE) & Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC) syllabus, and has a number of experienced teachers.
Foundation
Bishop Morrow School, Krishnanagar is established and administered by the Registered society of the Kolkata Province of Catechist Sisters of Mary Immaculate Help of Christians.It is exclusively a Christian Minority institution recognized by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Government of India(vied F.No.321 of 2006, dated (10.08.2006)and Department of Education of the Government of West Bengal, and is affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi,(School Code WB242) for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ICSE), the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC).
Aim of the Institution
The aim of the Institution is to impart a sound value based education by forming in the students habits of piety, virtue, discipline and self-reliance during the year of their studies, thus enabling them to be dutiful and useful citizens of our motherland,India. BMS seek to form the students through education, into persons of character, competence, conscience, compassion and commitment who will foster uprightness in public life.
Motto and emblem
The school motto is Love Knowledge Service, as illustrated in the school's emblem. The emblem is printed on all school badges, blazers, sports jerseys as well as school note book covers and other articles.

Classes I & II= 8:00am–12:30pm
Classes III & IV= 8:00am–12:40pm
Classes V to VII= 9:40am–3:50pm
Classes VIII to X= 9:40am–4:00pm

Boys and Girls-Blue Tie with White strips and badges.For Winter primary students wear blue sweater and the seniors wear blazer.Black shoes with laces for boys,black shoes with buckles for girls.The day they have PT and games,they wear white canvas shoes.Material for pants,shirts,skirt,churidar,tie,belt and blazer must be obtained from the school
House system
The secondary school students are grouped into four houses . The houses are: Blue House Green House Red House Yellow House Each house has a House Captain and a House Vice Captain - generally students of grades 12 and 11 respectively. Reporting to them are the House Representatives - one for each of the other grades. These executive members are selected by a meeting between the principal and teachers. There are also junior captains of class 7.
The houses compete against each other in sports and academics. On the annual sports day,on the sports day prizes are given on various surroundings(like best in sports,discipline,parade etc.)
Campus
Bishop Morrow School, located over a large area has a lush green campus and peaceful ambiance.The best thing about the area is it is green and clean and also the school supports plantations. Every year the school celebrates the Environment week on the 2nd week of July.During this week several saplings are being planted by both teachers and students.Also several other programs are held showing the importance of the Mother Earth.The campus in its complete sense and appearance follows every norm of cleanliness and every student is committed to the well up-keeping of the school.
