Bitburg Middle-High School (generally referred to as BMHS), originally opened in 1956, is part of the Kaiserslautern School District and has a student population of approximately 230 with a faculty of thirty. It is situated in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. In the 2013-14 school year, the Bitburg Middle School was integrated into the high school.

Although Bitburg Middle-High School is located at the Bitburg Air Base housing complex, many of the students that attend this school live at the Spangdahlem Air Base or villages in the surrounding areas. Over the course of the next decade, a new middle/high school will be built at the Spangdahlem Air Base.

Bitburg Middle-High School was one of the first schools in DoDDS (Department of Defense Dependent Schools) to successfully implement and maintain a Block Scheduling/Seminar schedule, during the 1994–1995 school year. Currently, they maintain a normal schedule with 8 periods, including a seminar class. The schedule rotates in the block system as Blue and Red days.

Accreditation

Bitburg Middle-High School is fully accredited by AdvancED. Every five years the school is visited to assess the success of the school's individual school improvement plan. The Spring of 2011 was the latest visition in the process. The professional and auxiliary staff members at school complete an in-depth report which addresses one affective and one cognitive area that the school has chosen to address in an outcomes based school improvement plan. This self-study is submitted to AdvancED for their review and evaluation.

Bitburg Middle-High School has been recommended for outcomes-based accreditation and has been commended for its efforts to provide its students a quality program of education and its continued effort for excellence. The process of self-evaluation is continuous. District accedidation will take place in Spring 2016.
