Bitcoin Core is the open source client of the Bitcoin Cryptocurrency. Initially, the software was published by Satoshi Nakamoto under the Name "Bitcoin" and later[1] renamed to Bitcoin Core. The software validates the whole Blockchain including all transactions ever done. Moreover[2] a wallet, which can be used to transfer funds, is included by default.
