Bitrix24 is a cross-platform collaborative and unified communications software launched in April 2012 by Bitrix, Inc. (Alexandria, VA). Initially focused on small businesses,[2] the solution is free for up to 12 users.
History
Bitrix24 was launched on 12 April 2012. In the same year Bitrix announced a $1.2 million program of grants for startups.[3]
Features
Bitrix24 is often referred to as a CRM,[4] or as a productivity tool,[5] or as a collaboration tool.[6] Generally it’s a virtual "intuitive workspace",[7] which unites:
- project collaboration (workgroups, tasks, calendars, gantt charts),
- (group) chats and video,
- client management tools (contacts, deals, invoicing),
- workflow management,[8][9]
- HRIS (company structure, employees profiles, search, leave approvals),[10]
- telephony (integrated module VoxImplant by Zingaya),[11]
- Social intranet (likes, badges, activity stream).
API
Bitrix24 has both API and REST API which allow to adjust workflows and business logic inside cloud-based portals and build custom solutions and integrations.[12][13] Some of the apps built using this interface include integrations with Mailchimp, Slack, Sticky Notes, as well as Yammer, Zoho and Basecamp migration tools and VAT calculator.[14]
