Bizaardvark is an upcoming Disney Channel series starring Olivia Rodrigo and Madison Hu. The series is set to premiere June 24, 2016, following the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie Adventures in Babysitting.^[1]

Plot

Two best friends, Paige and Frankie, write funny songs and post them on the internet.

Production

The series hails from scribes Kyle Stegina and Josh Lehrman, who come from Disney Channel’s inaugural Storytellers program, which is designed to develop the next generation of creators and writers of for kids, tween and family programming. The pair will serve as co-executive producers. Eric Friedman (Austin & Ally, Crash & Bernstein) will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Marc Warren (Full House, Even Stevens, That’s So Raven, Cory in the House), who supervised Disney Channel's Storytellers, executively produced the pilot. The cast started shooting in January 2016.
