Bjarne Ness (17 March 1902 – 13 December 1927) was a Norwegian painter and illustrator.
He was born in Trondheim to Bernhard Ness and Elise Konstanse Olsen. Among his paintings are Badende kvinner i skogen from 1926, Pietà (1926, originally bought by Fridtjof Nansen, and currently in the National Gallery of Norway), Komposisjon (1926, acquired by art collector Johannes Sejersted Bødtker, and later donated to the National Gallery), Feieren (1927), Musikanten (1927) and Fiolinisten (1927). He died of tuberculosis in Paris in 1927, only 25 years old.[1][2]
