Bjelland og Grindum is a former municipality in Vest-Agder county in Norway. It is located in the present-day municipalities of Audnedal and Marnardal.
History
The parish of Bjelland og Grindum (population: 1,662 in 1835[1]) was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt).
On 1 January 1902, Bjelland og Grindum was split into two municipalities: Bjelland (population: 907) and Grindheim (population: 909). These municipalities later became parts of Audnedal and Marnardal.[2]
