The black-tailed crake (Amaurornis bicolor) is a species of bird in the family Rallidae. It is found in Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
