Black Head (South Georgia)

Black Head (54°04′00″S 37°07′00″W / 54.06667°S 37.11667°W / -54.06667; -37.11667Coordinates: 54°04′00″S 37°07′00″W / 54.06667°S 37.11667°W / -54.06667; -37.11667) is a dark, rugged promontory, 60 metres (200 ft) high, separating Cook and Possession Bays on the north coast of South Georgia. It was named by Discovery Investigations personnel who charted this area in 1929-30.
