Black Jews

Black Jews may refer to several ethno-religious communities, often not directly associated with mainstream Judaism:

• Abayudaya - a community of black Africans, who converted to a form of Judaism
• Cochin Jews - or the "Black Jews of Malabar", a community of Indian Jews
• Beta Israel - also known as Ethiopian Jews
• Black Hebrew Israelites - an ethno-religious community of African Americans, unrelated with mainstream Judaism
• Jewish African-Americans - people of mixed Jewish-African-American ancestry of African-Americans, who converted to Judaism
