Franchise history
19xx-07 Lacombe Wranglers
2007-Present Blackfalds Wranglers

The Blackfalds Wranglers are a Junior "B" Ice Hockey team based in Blackfalds, Alberta, Canada. They are members of the North Division of the Heritage Junior B Hockey League (HJHL). They play their home games at Blackfalds Superdome.

Prior to the 2007-08 season the team was known as the Lacombe Wranglers. Since the Wranglers have moved to Blackfalds they have failed to make playoffs since relocation. Notable alumni include such players as Riley Hansen who holds the franchise record in every statistical category, in 2015 season the Wranglers retired Hansens 11 and has since renamed the arena in his honour. Other notable alumni include Layne Swier, who was two time (HJHL Donnie Rundler memorial player of the week) was an instrumental goalie in their 2012 playoff push, with a GAA of 3.09 and a blood alcohol level of 1.16, also holds the league record in most shut outs and all time goals allowed in a single game with 24.
