Bleed for This is an upcoming 2016 American biographical boxing film written and directed by Ben Younger and based on the life of former world champion boxer Vinny Pazienza. The film stars Miles Teller, Katey Sagal, Amanda Clayton and Aaron Eckhart, and is executive produced by Martin Scorsese. It is a passion project for producer Chad A. Verdi, despite Pazienza not having worldwide recognition. Principal photography began on November 10, 2014, in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Open Road Films acquired the distribution rights to the film on May 17, 2015.[1]

Filming

Filming began on November 10, 2014 in Warwick, Rhode Island.[2] On December 10, filming took place at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island.[3] On December 16 and 17 filming took place at Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence.[4]

Release

The film will have a limited release on November 4, 2016, before expanding on November 23, 2016.[5]
