Bleri Lleshi is a Belgian philosopher, researcher, activist, dj, and author. His research focuses on topics such as inequality,[1] neoliberalism, youth, migration, identities,[2] and extremism.[3]

Lleshi was born in 1981 in Albania.[2] He writes for various Belgian media such as De Morgen and MO*,[4] but also English ones such as EUObserver[5] and The Brussels Times.[6]

Lleshi has participated in conferences, debates,[7] and media such as Euronews, BBC,[8] Channel4, etc. In 2014, he was considered as one of the most influential immigrants in Belgium.[9]

Lleshi has also an artistic project as a DJ. His artist name is Bruselo. As DJ he plays music from all over the world such as Balkanic, cumbia, afrobeat, soukous, arabesque, to hip hop, dancehall, and reggae. He is also the organizer and resident DJ of Groovalicious, a monthly party in Brussels.[14] He has also his own radio show on "FM Brussel" radio.[15]
