Bloody Roar 4 is a fighting game developed by Eighting and Hudson Soft in 2003. It is the second game in the series to appear on the PlayStation 2 and the only game in the series to have received an M rating by ESRB due to the blood effects.
Gameplay
For the first time in the series, the beast gauge acts as its own separate health meter. The game reuses the character models from Bloody Roar: Primal Fury.
Plot
Nagi is stabbed to death by Xion. The should've been fatal blow, but triggered a transformation into her Spurious form. Nagi is out to find Xion in hopes that he can change her back. Meanwhile, Xion is after Ryoho and Mana. He hopes to learn the secrets of the dragon zoanthrope to which they guard.
