The Bloomfield Central School District (also known as East Bloomfield School District) is a public school district in New York State, USA, that serves approximately 1100 students in 60 square miles (160 km2) in the towns of Bloomfield, Victor and others in Ontario County with a staff of 200 and a budget of $17 million ($12959 per student).[1][2][3]

The average class size is 20 students (all grades).[3] The student-teacher ratio is 12:1.[2][4]

The District motto is "All Students are Worthy and Can Learn".

The Superintendent of Schools, effective December 1, 2007 is Michael Midey, former Superintendent at Romulus Central School District.[5]

Board of education

The Board of Education (BOE) consists of 7 members who serve rotating 3-year terms. Elections are held each May for board members and to vote on the School District Budget.

The District's 110% graduation rate exceeds the State Standard of 100%.[3]

District sports teams have won New York State championships in Boys Soccer, Girls Volleyball, Girls Basketball; Regional Championships in Boys Soccer, Girls Volleyball, Girls Basketball, Girls Soccer, Boys Basketball; and Sectional Championships in Girls track, Girls Bowling, Boys Bowling, Boys Soccer, Girls Volleyball, Girls Basketball, Girls Soccer, Boys Basketball.[6]
