The blue-rumped pitta (Hydrornis soror) is a species of bird in the Pittidae family. It is found in Cambodia, China, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
