Robert "Bob" Burns is a politician from Arizona who previously served as the President of the Arizona State Senate. Burns is a Republican who was elected from District 9 and resides in Peoria. Burns also served as chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Burns played a key role in the development of the Arizona Telemedicine Council, initiating the legislation that created it, and serving as the first co-chairman of the council.^[1]

In 2012 Burns was elected to the Arizona Corporation Commission.^[2]
