Bob Crampton is a British weather presenter employed by ITV West Country and best known for forecasting the weather on ITV News in the South West regions.[1]
Early life
Bob was born in South Africa, his father was the country's first radio DJ to introduce piano music. At the age of 11, Bob wanted to become a rugby player.[2] He was educated at Sutton High School in Plymouth. After leaving Sutton High School, Bob was employed by a small weekly newspaper in North Devon for a 4-year apprenticeship as a reporter. In 1983, Bob moved to HTV West.
Career
Until 15 February 2009, Bob worked for The West Tonight, he was then transferred over to The West Country Tonight in 2009. On 14 January 2013, The West Country Tonight was re-branded as ITV News West Country, where Bob is employed. In June 2015, he made an appearance on ITV News Central presenting the weather.

Personal life
Bob has one grandson named Jack who was born in early 2012.
