Bob Peterson (born March 15, 1962) is a Republican member of the Ohio Senate from the 17th District. From 2011 to 2012, he served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 85th district.[2] Before being elected to the Ohio House of Representatives, he was Fayette County Commissioner for 14 years.[3] He was first elected as a state representative in November 2010 with 55.3% of the vote.[4] He is the chairman of the Senate Finance General Government subcommittee.
Peterson won a full-term to the Ohio Senate on November 6, 2012 and was sworn-in January, 2013.[5]
Peterson is married with three children, Sarah, Hanna, and Todd.[1]
