Robert Walkup Smith (May 13, 1928 June 23, 2003), nicknamed 'Riverboat', was a professional baseball player who played pitcher in the Major Leagues from 1958-1959. He batted and threw left-handed. Smith made his major league debut on April 22, 1958. He played for the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, and Cleveland Indians throughout his baseball career.
