Bobby Jacobs
Bobby Jacobs, born in Hilversum, The Netherlands in 1965, has been the bassist / composer for Dutch prog-rock group Focus since 2002. Jacobs is the 2nd son of jazz bassist Ruud Jacobs, nephew of pianist Pim Jacobs and brother of musicians Jeroen and Roeland Jacobs. He is also the step-son of Thijs van Leer, the founding father of Focus. Jacobs has contributed the tracks, De Ti O De Me, Sylvia's Stepson, Aya-Yuppie-Hippy-Yee and Hoeratio to the band's catalogue as well as producing the album Focus X (2012) and its 2014 follow-up Golden Oldies.
