Bodybuilding in Fiji has a national governing organization, and Fijian bodybuilders compete in international events.
History
The 2011 Pacific Games were held in Noumea, New Caledonia. A member of the Fiji national team won a gold medal at the Games.[1]
Governance
The national governing organization for the sport is the Fiji Amateur Body Building Association.[1][2] The country has a national organization that is a recognized by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness as a national federation, representing the country's bodybuilding community.[3] Vidya Lakhan is a patron of the Fiji Body Building Federation. He is also President of the Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee.[1]
