Boisset Family Estates is the US office of family-owned Boisset, La Famille des Grands Vins, France's third largest wine group, and Burgundy's largest wine producer.[1] A family-owned producer and importer of wines from France, California, Italy and Canada, Boisset Family Estates is one of the Top 25 wine producers in the United States.[2]

Boisset Family Estates is led by Jean-Charles Boisset, who is also President of Boisset, La Famille des Grands Vins.[3] Decanter magazine has recognized Jean-Charles #24 among its "Power List" of the most influential people in the world of wine.[4]

Jean-Charles Boisset is married to Gina Gallo,[5][5][6] granddaughter of Julio Gallo of E & J Gallo Winery, America’s largest winery, and the world's second-biggest wine company after Constellation. In 2008, Dan Aykroyd joined a winemaking partnership with De Loach Vineyards and its owners, the Burgundy-based Boisset Family.[7]
