Bojana Todorovic

Bojana Todorovic, also known as Bo Todorovic (born 28 October 1991)[1] is a Serbian-American volleyball player that last played as an open hitter for the Philips Gold Lady Slammers in the 2015 Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix conference. She is also the former libero for the United States women's national volleyball team (U23).

Career

She started playing Volleyball at the age of seven. Todorovic spent her playing career in college for the University of California Bruins as their libero. She was part of the 2011 UCLA Bruins champion team during the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball competitions. In her rookie year, she was part of the All-Pac-10 Freshman team.[2]

She also played in France for nine months before playing in the Philippine Superliga in 2015.[3]

Final tour of duty and retirement

In October 2015, she accepted the offer to join the Philips Gold Lady Slammers as their import for the 2015 PSL Grand Prix Conference. Eventually, Philips Gold claimed their third place in the tournament. Todorovic won the 2nd Best Outside Spiker.

Minutes after the third place game against Cignal HD Spikers on November 21, 2015, Todorovic announced that she will retire from the sport after the her January-April 2016 stint in a Puerto Rican volleyball league. Following that tournament, she will return to the United States to complete her Masters degree in Sports Management in the California State University, Long Beach. After which, she plans to embark on a career with a public relations or sports management company.[4][3]
